Or are they not nowadays? I've seen it in some humour fantasies, so not sure if it is used in more serious genres;-)
The idea is "you fight your enemy with similar weapon to what they have".
But I like the idea "you fight with whatever you have and whatever works" more.
How can you normally guess that a girl has new boyfriend?
(yes, I'm tired of being asked about it by the Blond Receptionist all the time! Everything provokes her to ask this question. Last time it was my call to Exquire about delivery of NZLARPS gear. Hey, I didn't even call at my work time, it was my lunch!)

Yeah, first week back to work was crazy, and Saturday was good, and on Sunday I got out of bed at 1.30 and had no energy to go anywhere or do anything, so I didn't. I guess I just needed some reast from the long and tiring week.
And today is Monday, rain, crazy deadline, and spicy curry buns from IT Guru.
4 days to work, 4 days for Taupo Joust, a bit more - and will be February. Life will get a bit more calm.
But I don't actually think so.
And this is good.
