cooking plans

Cabbage needs to be eaten with gherkins. I feel that will be the best option. Cabbage definitely lacks gherkins, and I'm going to restore this balance. So today I'll go and buy a can of gherkins. I really didn't buy them for a long time already...
And I want omelet! I don't even remember when I've been eating it last time. I think my body lacks eggs.
I have eggs, I have milk, and oil, and even a frying pan with cover.
And I have pancakes too. Made them yesterday, but with that baking powder they took so bloody long to bake that I started eating some food from the fridge as I was very hungry. After finishing small bits of chicken, bread, olives, and chocolate I happily finished baking the pancakes just to discover I'm not hungry anymore.
Geek.
So I have dinner for today;-)))
But I'll make omelet too, I think it would be nice with a bit of pancakes, and the rest of them can stay more in the fridge.

Soup with cabbage

Trying not to eat is probably not an option. I made cabbage soup. It's called "schi". So yesterday I had schi for dinner.  Heh, it looks like I'm just adding ingredients to soup. Firs it was beef, carrot, and potato, then I added mashtooms, and now cabbage.
It's actually a rather nice soup. And I think it might worth making big pan, as I did yesterday. That one is meant for three days. So I don't need to cook every day;-)))
Fried sausage, exactly as [info]cat_i_th_adage advised.  But I haven't eaten it yet, lunch is 1,5 hours away!
I'll need to update this post after that.
But I'm already hungry;-(((
It's probably a good idea to concentrate on the cabbage, yup. It's always said to be very nice for slimming. I need to eat more of it.
The fact is, I can't really eat it fresh. Well, I can, but I don't like it at all. But when cooked - it's really nice. I think that's an option.
Yay cabbage!

Update: no yay for sausages. I chose those ones for three reasons: they were clearly said to be "beef sausages" - so I knew what's inside; they were much prettier looking than most of other sausages; and they were not expensive.
There is a Russian proverb that says "you don't search for good from good", and another one which says "better is the enemy of good".
Baka me. I hate sausages. No more sausages *cry bitterly*
