In my childhood my main reading were fairy tales. Now it's fantasy, and sometimes - science fiction. Not far from fairy tales, I guess;-)))
So, in one Georgian fairy tale there was a character with a very special ability... Well, actually, it's not only this one, that ability appears in fairy tales of that region sometimes, but this one was just one of those I really liked so I remember it quite well. Not even so much the plot as the ability.
Now, reading the Hub Club RP thread on Diatribe I suddenly came up with the idea - what if I join and play as Anomaly that has this ability? The thing is, it's a very weird one, and will make no benefit in battle or other conflicts. Still, will definitely make benefit in other ways, but not so much for the one who has it as for those who are around.

I have a developped idea for 2014 character which I'm going play in larp, but dunno if I should join as that one online, or better try this new one... I'm kinda tempted, also, I only came up with idea about an hour ago, and my lunch happened in that time, so I had my head free from work thoughts to think of something else. So now I have a ready character with a weird ability, but I'm too shy to start playing. I'll read the thread till the end (I'm somewhere in the middle now), and if feel less shy I'll probably join. This character wouldn't be anything about using her power for her own benefit, so it would all be about roleplaying the actual attitude and the "human-->anomaly" change situation, as she's just recently discovered that power.

The more funny thing is that if I decided to play it live, the power is actually very physreppable...

Men are dodgy. The IT Guru searched for Vitamin C in medical software and was very impressed to find condoms (the search appeared to be made both for c and v). Now he talks about how doctors need to prescribe Vitamin C when oral contraceptives are non-applicable, and that Vitamin C comes in different shapes, sizes, and tastes. He also said Vitamin C is chewable and demonstrated me a pack of real Vitamin C which does say "chewable".

2014 is closer than you think! My manager has just made a joke about prognosing something for 2014 year, and it took me a long time to divide OOC context and the game context;-)))
Which reminds me I need to make  a character sheet for 2014.
Ah, and for Ravenholme too... Totally not into it, I mean - to making the sheet. I think I'll better go and write another fiction about my larp character. Let's see how much I can write today on my Capulet...

I'm not a devoted meme person, like, usually don't go around crazily looking for memes;-))) but when I see something on my F-page that I like - I usually take it. This one is a kinda embarrassing, and I basically started with just answering it in heidipina's journal, just because I wanted to answer. Then thought - maybe put it here too... But it's embarrassing, so think twice before you look uner the cut (to whom am I saying it? two years ago I was a shy good girl, and look what you people have done to me! Well, I'm still shy and good *blush*, in a manner;-)))
Btw, what's "fling"? I saw it recently in someone's LJ, or maybe email, and I think I even got a meaning, but now forgot (geek, I always feel stupid when I get the meaning of the word and then forget it)... Also, "take advantage" - meaning what? Sometimes people offer me to do it, and I don't even know what they mean... I have a suspicion those two expressions have some indecent meaning, but I'm not sure exactly.

I suddenly felt a wish to check the old Mordavia forum where I first time roleplayed online. That was quite funny, to see beginning of my roleplaying;-)))
adamww asked me if I wanna play online a bit as it was some time before my first larp, and starfirenz came to his inn as a spice merchant, so he thought it would be logical for an alchemist to talk to her. Naive young me thought it'll be just a nice conversation of two nice ladies.

Mua-ha-ha.

Well, the starfirenz part was nice indeed, and me was nice back. But I surprisingly found there was some action going on around too...
adamww himself was there as Boris, the human who hated elves, and he was staring at us making us nervous. Then kiwifruitbat came in as a completely drunk fairy Die Fledermaus, a very shocking character for a person like me;-))) He came up to Myri (starfirenz's character) and me and said "So... either o' you two hu'ans been wit a war hero?" I didn't understand a single word in this phrase and PMed to starfirenz "What did he say?" She explained;-))) I tried to play a cold angry elf, Die Fledermaus kept being naughty, I suggested he goes find a barrel of a cold water and ducks his head into it. He took it as a challenge and suggested we meet two months later after full moon for an insult competition. I suggested he doesn't walk around in full moon as he can be eaten by a werewolf, and then we'll have to deal with a drunk werewolf which would be very upsetting.

Then Megilindir (adamww's character and my character's lord) came in. It was kinda strange to read how I talked to him, when he asked if I'd seen his sword, and I gave it to him (kept it next to me all the time). In reality, I wouldn't let my lord to walk around without me, and if I knew he's walking around with no me and no sword I would have already been shaking up the city looking for him;-))) And then my phrase "a slight anxiety reflects on her face, but then she obviously decides that her main object is to obey her lord's wishes" when I watch my lord leaving the inn sounds just weird. Well, the "You will NOT go there!" thing when pulling him back away from the zombies happened much later, as well as him escaping from inn and me following him being not seen. His expression when he at last noticed me was priceless.

In her pm starfirenz also told me that Trainer_guy's character, Carlyn, the captain of the guard, was couple of tables away so he could do something interesting if Die Fledermaus does something we don't like. Well, Die Fledermaus quickly escaped when Megilindir appeared, "running away, bumping into everything on his way", and the next thing he did was bumping into Carlyn's table and knocking his hot coffee over him. And that was not the only thing he did;-) What he got for it was "two hours in the stocks... and make sure there is a big bucket of rotten fruit next to him". Since Die Fledermaus kept being naughty  "the sound of rotten fruit thrown grows more frequent".

That was fun. I hope I'll happen to do more online roleplaying, right now there is some going on 2014 forum, but I just can't find what I would wanna play there... I hope we'll get to do it in St Wolfgang maybe, after the first game, when it all settles a bit.

Oh dear, the game starts tomorrow! Aaaahhh!

What should I think of spam that says "Become the man you have always wanted to be"?
I just really don't know how to react.

And the ads in my LJ now have St. Wolfgang Hotel Deals. Gosh, I don't know what to think of this neither, as in light of upcoming St Wolfgang Vampire Hunters larp the hotel thingy looks suspicious.

Writing the character sheet for St Wolfgang now, and my character is a nun.
So I wrote that her family "sent her to coven".
Hold on. Something is wrong.
Ah, they actually sent her to convent. Right.
Well, the two words sound so similar...

My Master has recently posted a llama link, so I decided I can post a llama link here too, just because it's funny.
There is a discussion on Diatribe now, and on this page they describe a Mordavia case. Some of you don't need to read it as you guys actually posted there, but others may want to get some giggle too. On top there is stuff about costume, but when you scroll a bit down - that's it.

Bumped into an article in inet (in Russian), that was just a short informal thing about some students. A girl who wrote that was very surprised when her uni friends, while presenting her to a newbie in the group, said "this is our stronghold of feminism". She then asked them why they called her that, and found out that one of the reasons what that she never allowed any man to pay for her in cafe. Her idea which she explains further i  the article was that she didn't see any reasons to expect a man to pay for her if he has the same income, but at the same time her classmates saw it as not a very friendly behaviour and the only explanation they could find for it was that she's a feminist.
